Edward Jay Wilusz is the principal of the Intellectual Property Strategy firm, EJW Pharma Strategy, and creator of the web resource, BioLinkIP. He is a patent attorney who advises both large and small companies in IP Strategy and product Life Cycle Optimization. EJW Pharma Strategy has offices in Massachusetts and Washington state.

Jay is also the Senior VP of IP, Strategy and Licensing at Makai Biotechnology in Honolulu, HI. From 2010 to 2012, he led the Life Cycle Management team for the oncology and multiple sclerosis marketing franchises at Sanofi US. Prior to his engagement for Sanofi, Jay was a vice president for the Novartis Pharma Intellectual Property group, where he managed the US IP site and provided IP counsel to Novartis country office presidents in North and South America and Japan. His industry background includes roles as a pharmaceutical research group leader and clinical trial monitor.
Jay is admitted to the Washington State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar, and is registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office. He holds a B.S. Biochemistry and a M.S. Cell and Developmental Biology, from Rutgers University, and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
